tyler, an old friend, approached me about doing a music video for this song, catching me during a time where I was absolutely captured with the concept of having animals transforming in animation- i was finding a lot of things about my identity shifting as my environment and the world shifted. i thought it could be clever to play with the concept in a love song, acting as a symbol for feeling in or out of sync with another person and went to town. he gave me a lot of creative freedom and time to explore that route. did this solo over several months during weekends and off-hours
